We are not solicitors, surveyors or accountants, and we give no legal, valuation or tax advice — those professionals are appointed separately on every project. Where we manage property or handle client money, funds are held in a client account and we belong to a government-approved redress scheme with client money protection in place.
Both. Some projects are on our own account and others are run for clients under a written appointment, with the basis agreed before anything starts.
No, and nobody can. We assess the policy position and precedent honestly and tell you where the risk sits before you commit.
Where we manage property, yes, in a client account with client money protection in place and membership of a government-approved redress scheme.
No. We appoint and coordinate them. Keeping those roles separate is how a client gets independent advice rather than one firm marking its own work.
Tell us the site and we'll be straightforward about whether it suits us. We'd rather decline than stretch.
Set out in the written appointment before work begins — fixed, staged or percentage depending on the project.
